Weekend 2 gives COD MW4 a noticeably different feel from the opening beta weekend. Gunfights last a little longer, movement takes more planning, and killstreaks are harder to earn. You'll spot the difference within a few matches, especially if you relied on constant tactical sprinting before. Players trying to test new loadouts or level weapons at a steady pace may also look into Bot Lobby MW4 while getting familiar with the updated rules.

Weapons Now Leave More Room to React

The developers have tuned every weapon in the beta, so the old Weekend 1 favourites may not feel quite the same. Time to kill has been extended through weapon adjustments rather than a health increase. That matters at close range, where a missed shot no longer feels instantly fatal. The M4, Castoff, Nightshade and Deagle all received changes, with some gaining handling improvements while giving up strength elsewhere. Shotguns were pulled back, too. Snipers now suffer 28% more received flinch, and overpressured rounds create a stronger interruption when they connect.

Movement Takes a More Measured Approach

Tactical sprint is no longer active by default. It's now tied to the Blood Rush perk, which creates a clear choice between a familiar classic setup and a faster movement build. Tactical sprint speed has dropped by 4%, slide distance by 10%, and slide speed by 9%. Stamina is down 8% as well. You'll feel that most when escaping after a fight. The sprint-to-fire timing has also been brought closer to normal sprint, so rushing every doorway is less reliable than it was last weekend.

Spawns and Streaks Get a Cleanup

Respawn logic has been adjusted across the main modes, with Hardpoint receiving extra attention. Players should appear less often directly beside squad members, while separation between teammates ought to be more consistent. Temporary spawn protection now includes Battle Hardened effects. Hardpoint on Rooftops is temporarily unavailable because of a known spawn problem. Killstreaks also cost one additional kill across the board. UAV health has been reduced by 60%, and Artillery Strike now uses fewer missiles with a smaller damage and shockwave radius.

Warzone, Aim Assist and Weekend 2 Content

Aim assist has been reduced across the beta, although the developers say its values are still being reviewed. Warzone will receive related adjustments, but its movement will not match multiplayer perfectly. The level cap is now 30, opening more perks and equipment. New content includes 10v10 Kill Confirmed, Hijack and Resurgence Quads, while score limits rise for Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed. Audio improvements and PC stability work round out the update. If you're planning a focused progression session, buy Bot Lobby MW4 can be one option to consider alongside the new public playlists.
